Mooer's Preamp Live is an attractively-priced, compact and robust digital multi preamp modeller effects pedal that combines elements of the popular Micro Preamp and Radar effects pedals and adds plenty more too! There are 50 independent preamp models in all to choose from and up to 12 can be loaded at any one time. A boost can be placed before or after any one of these presets and rhythms parts can tightened up by using the built-in noise gate in pre or post positions. The sound of each tube amp simulation can be tweaked as required by using the 3-band EQ, presence and gain controls. There's a volume knob too and the boost and noise gate can both be adjusted using the boost potentiometer.

Preamp Live: included and 3rd party IRs

Just like Mooer's Radar, the Preamp Live lets you choose between four power amp emulations or bypass them completely. It has all of the same impulse responses on board too. This alone means you can head directly to the stage, the studio or the rehearsal room without a combo, an amp head or a power amp in sight. Third party IRs can be loaded too. This means you can easily take the sound of your favourite speaker cabinet with you. As well as a USB connector, the Preamp Live also has jack and XLR outputs and MIDI IN and OUT so that you can connect it to lots of different equipment.

Capture sounds and shape them

Thanks to the Tone Capture function, you can sample the sound of your favourite guitar amplifiers and create digital models of them. Once they're saved as a preset, you can even share them via the official Preamp Live software. All of the settings can be accurately adjusted via the on-board controls or the software, but you can also use Mooer's Preamp Live app. Once you've downloaded it, you'll be able to control things via Bluetooth from a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet. If you want to add your favourite effects pedal, you can connect it via the FX loop. The Preamp Live comes complete with a 12V power adapter.
