If you're looking for a nice sound system for use in your cafe, mobile DJ show, band or other mobile application, then the ELX 15 by Electro Voice makes an excellent choice! This set comes complete with two ELX 115 full-range speakers, two ELX 118 subwoofers, a Q99 amplifier and two ASP 1 distance rods. The system delivers a respectable 1,600 watts of power, which is more than enough for many applications. Furthermore, the Live X series from which this set comes features robust products with wooden cabinets and metal grilles for protecting the woofers. There's no doubt that these speakers can take some heavy use, and they're easy to move and transport as well, thanks to sturdy metal handles. ELX 115 full-range speaker

Because this speaker is equipped with a 15-inch woofer, it delivers a serious dose of bass - the kind of bass that is always tight and never muddy. The Live X series from which the ELX 118 hails was designed for musicians. You can see that in every detail, from the rugged build of the subwoofer to the solid sound it produces. With 400 watts of continuous power, the ELX 118 offers a solid foundation for your performances and greatly expands your frequency range. Not to mention that by making use of two subs, you can serve a larger audience in combination with two ELX 115 speakers.

Q99 amplifier

In order to equip this speaker combo with enough power, you need an amplifier that not only delivers power, but that makes it possible for the speakers to really show what they have to offer. The Electro Voice Q99 was made for such an assignment. This two-channel amp offers two times 800 watts of power - enough to amplify the ELX 115 and ELX 118 combo. It features a circuit designed to use less power and to produce less heat, which is desirable on a stage that is already warm enough thanks to devices such as guitar amps and lamps.
