Allmänt
Bugera have spent a lot of time sitting and listening closely to the characteristic nuances of long forgotten British-designed amps to bring us a new head that actually encapsulates one specific year (and actually, a fair few others). The 1960 INFINIUM is breathtakingly voiced by hand selected EL34s and ECC84s, and Bugera have even added a non-compromising post-phase inverter - which can be bypassed for a direct signal path as preferred.
The 1960 INFINIUM: Sound Matters Most
The 1960 INFINIUM is home to a transformer with a huge output and specially placed windings for a heightened dynamic response and increased clarity. A built-in FX loop (with true-bypass) has been provided for external effects as well as preamps or modeling processors - making for an antique sounding amp that offers more modern and adaptable on-stage potential.
Old-School Design, Vintage Sound
This amp head also has one other function that sets it apart from other amps you might find at the same price: the two channels are both fitted with two input sockets. These can be used in series, parallel or as a frame, building a solid bridge between the '60s, '70s, and '80s.

Un seul canal, amis de la grosse disto passez votre chemin...nan j'déconne !
Utilisation :
Bon un peu de sérieux, 4 entrées jack en façade donc, utilisation peu intuitive, mais après quelques minutes de jeu en touchant à tous les potards et en débranchant et rebranchant le jack dans tous les trous, on finit par comprendre qu'il faut lire la notice.
Une fois celle ci lue, on se rend compte qu'elle ne nous apprend rien et on recommence à trifouiller l'ampli.
Sonorité :
Si vous voulez juste un son clair par contre, pas de problème vous trouverez vite votre bonheur.
Perso, je l'ai pris pour plus de polyvalence (je jouais sur une Randall RH150...pas très polyvalent) et un test sur YT m'a attiré vers cet ampli qui semblait avoir un champ musical plutôt large.
L'ampli a un son vraiment particulier, il a beaucoup de caractère qui rappellera immédiatement les Marshall des premières heures. Par contre si vous voulez jouer en appartement, ne comptez pas sur le Master Volume pour vous y aider...il faut un atténuateur de puissance pour faire saturer les lampes sans rendre sourd votre quartier.
Une fois ma MXR ZW44 branchée dessus, il sonne comme une JCM800, c'est surprenant de voir un tel son sortir d'un ampli de ce prix !
Je branche ensuite ma Randall RH150 dessus, et là c'est l'extase ! Le son est un peu criard, mais il suffit d'enlever un peu de mid et de treb pour avoir une TRES grosse disto avec un charme fou !
En conclusion, cette tête seule sera l'amie des bluesmans et rockeurs old school. Avec un peu plus de matos autour, la meilleure amie de tous les guitaristes.

Hij klinkt in mijn oren het beste zonder gebruik van de volumeknop. Nadeel is dat ie dan heel hard klinkt. Dat is ook de reden dat ik er een attenuator bij ga kopen. Hou je van een overdriven geluid dan is het zelfs een must omdat je het overdriven geluid alleen krijgt bij hoge volumes.
De muziek die ik er mee maak Jimi Hendrix (vooral de ballads met een clean geluid) en SRV. De versterker levert mij het geluid dat ik wil zonder gebruik te maken van pedalen.
