The clear-sounding Fender Passport 500 Pro is the largest member of the practical Passport series and is now lighter and more compact than ever. This line of PA systems has an exceptionally manageable design, a powerful clear sound and a very complete mixer section. The Passport 500 Pro's 500 watts of power ensure you of a powerful sound that doesn't distort, even when you turn up the volume. This system is remarkably quick and easy to set up and excellently suited for medium-sized venues. Its eight channels make the Passport 500 suitable for solo artists, teachers, keynote speakers and small bands.

Passport 500 Pro: eight channels

Each of the Passport's first six channels allows you to connect an instrument or a microphone via XLR or 6.3mm jack. If you use the jack connector, both dynamic and condensor microphones are an option, as this PA is equipped with adjustable phantom power. The other two channels are reserved for stereo sources such as a CD or mp3 player that can be connected via two 6.3mm jack inputs or a practical 3.5mm mini-jack stereo input per channel. You can adjust the sound for each source with 2-band equalizers, volume controls and reverb controls.

Innovations and extras

One of the Passport 500 Pro's attractive new functions is the possibility to connect a digital storage device via USB. The USB connection is controlled on channel 8, combined with the play button for mp3 and WAV files on your USB drive. The record button allows you to easily record your performance as a WAV file. Another practical novelty is the output for an optional subwoofer, for added bass force. What's more, the speakers of the Passport 500 Pro will fit virtually any stand and feature a practical compartment on the back for cables.
