These guitars were built with the greatest care in the United States and are suited for any Fender-loving professional or advanced player. The Mystic Blue Fender American Standard Telecaster is a beautiful guitar with a rosewood fretboard, that is now more comfortable and reliable than ever before. Thanks to the Custom Shop pickups, it still offers the classic Tele sound, however.
Modern features of the American Standard Telecaster
The two pickups - a bright Broadcaster bridge pickup and a Strat-like Twisted Tele - sound clearer and fuller than before. They are figuratively and literally supported by the deeply resonating ash body. This body features a back contour that significantly increases comfort while playing. What's more, the fretboard is now relatively flat, which - in combination with the Bi-Flex system - allows for incredibly low action.
Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series
The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
