The DMSTetrad Vocal Set is a professional digital wireless microphone system by AKG. The set includes one handheld transmitter and a receiver. As the system operates on the 2.4 GHz ISM band, it can be used license-free all over the world. The audio is transmitted without being compressed first, this results in an extremely clear and full sound. DMSTetrad Vocal Set: the handheld transmitter

The DHTTetrad P5 is the digital handheld transmitter from the DMSTetrad Vocal Set. It is equipped with the P5 capsule by AKG. This capsule is a part of the Perception Live series and offers a clear and powerful sound for vocals and speech. It has a super-cardioid pickup pattern, which only registers the sound of your voice and reduces ambient sounds to a minimum. This also makes it insensitive to feedback.

The receiver

The DMSTetrad system contains the DSRTetrad stationary receiver. In order to set up this set you won't need a degree in sound engineering. Thanks to the 2-way communication, an available frequency is automatically found. The 2.4 GHz network is used by all kinds of applications (such as Wi-Fi, for instance), which is why AKG have done all in their power to reduce the sensitivity to interference of their systems.
