The Shure BLX24 - Beta 58A is an analogue wireless handheld set with a professional sound at a very attractive price! The set consists of a BLX2 handheld transmitter with a Beta 58A microphone head and the very compact BLX4 receiver. The transmitter and receiver communicate via the UHF frequency and can be set up easily. The set has a solid construction and it is light of weight.

The Shure BLX2 is a UHF handheld transmitter with a maximum range of 90 metres. The lightweight housing is made of a very hard synthetic material and this makes it rugged as well. It is powered for a maximum of 14 hours by only two AA batteries. The microphone head of the Shure BLX2 is the world-renowned Beta 58A. This is a highly popular microphone, that is often seen on TV and at many concerts and festivals. Its popularity is caused by its highly desirable sound properties. The capsule has a super-cardioid pickup pattern and a wide frequency range. This means that feedback is countered effectively and your voice is registered beautifully.
Shure BLX-4 receiver
The Shure BLX2 transmitter communicates with the BLX4 wireless receiver of this set. The transmitter is very compact and equipped with powerful internal antennas, so that you won't have to endlessly rotate and adjust antennas in the hope that reception improves. Thanks to the Shure QuickScan function a good connection is automatically made with the handheld transmitter and a signal can also be found in 'busier' environments, quite quickly. Via an XLR or 6.35mm jack output, the audio can be transferred to the PA mixer.
