Allmänt
Lined with nothing more than a few slider banks, a couple of rotary knobs and few buttons, you might think that Dreadbox Nymphes is a fairly limited synthesizer, but this fully analogue monster (aside from a digital reverb) can do way more than the clean layout will have you believe. This six-voice synth is home to a system loaded with seven menus and a Shift button, granting access to a machine that's at least twice as big as it looks.
The Dreadbox Nymphes
You get a VCO per voice, a sub-oscillator and a noise generator as well as a pretty extensive LFO per voice with a frequency range that makes FM-effects possible. Two envelopes are also supplied: a 24dB LPF and a 6dB HPF, and there are the global effects which can be applied to every voice and a global LFO with the same characteristics as the voice-LFO. Seven chords can be set at will, and on top of that, modulation options are on offer where mod-wheel, velocity and after-touch can edit the various parameters. Pile on that digital reverb and the tricksy Nymphes really comes to potent, even delirious life.
