This budget-friendly set offers both the IK Multimedia iRig Keys MIDI keyboard and the iRig Pads MIDI controller for an attractive price. Use this practical duo to create your own music productions on your PC, Mac or iOS device. The compact MIDI keyboard is equipped with 37 velocity-sensitive keys that enable you to record effortless melodies and chords in your preferred MIDI software (such as Cubase or GarageBand). Triggering effects and loops and creating drum tracks is easy with the 16 backlit, velocity-sensitive pads of the iRig Pads. Take note, however: it's only available for a limited time.

The looks and layout of the iRig Keys

The iRig Keys offers additional functionality in the shape of pitch and modulation wheels, as well as octave up and down buttons. A practical volume knob controls the system volume or the volume of your iOS device, and you can easily switch between programs. The iRig Keys' backlit buttons and LEDs keep you informed of your settings, and there's even a connector for a sustain pedal. To ensure a pleasant user experience, the velocity-sensitivity of the controller's keys can be adjusted to match your preferences.

iRig Pads: triggering and adjusting

Sixteen backlit pads provide you with an ultra-fast way of triggering effects, loops, program changes, samples, notes and other MIDI-assignable functions. Two knobs and a fader, meanwhile, make for easy adjustments in volume and other levels. In short, the iRig Pads is a versatile controller that is particularly suitable for mobile applications. Combine it with a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone, and you've got yourself a nice little setup.
