IK Multimedia's iRig Mic HD 2 is the successor to the popular iRig Mic HD. The HD 2 is an impressive all-rounder that's fully compatible with the iPhone 7 and has a maximum sample of rate of 96 kHz! With studio-quality A/D converters on board you can make top-quality recordings using your iOS device no matter where you are. The HD 2 is even equipped with a headphone socket and a dedicated volume control so that you can monitor the audio signal on the spot.

Versatile and complete

The HD 2 microphone is perfect for things like podcasting, home studio recording, guitar amplification, speech, vocals and more. It comes with a number of accessories including a storage pouch, a screw thread adapter, a table top stand, a microphone clip, a Lightning cable and a USB cable. You can find a number of free apps in the AppStore and MicPack for Vocalive, Pro Bundle for iRig Recorder and Mic Rig are all included with the HD 2 as is Ableton Live 9 Lite, T-RackS Classic and Mic Room. All in all, it's fair to say that the iRig Mic HD 2 is the ultimate mobile recording solution for iOS devices and Mac users and what's more, it's affordable too.
