The Korala PUG-40-RD is a hybrid of a classical guitar and a ukulele. It is the same size as a ukulele, yet it has six strings instead of four. This mini guitar has a tuning that's a quarter above that of full-size guitars - ADGCEA - which is perfect for even the very youngest of guitarists. They can later apply the chords they've learned on this cheerful little instrument to playing larger - standard - guitars. Of course, the same goes for adult players. Construction of the Korala PUG-40-RD

The body and neck of the Korala PUG-40 are made completely out of acoustically optimised polycarbonate. Thanks to this material, the PUG-40 is exceptionally light, and it stays unaffected by changes in temperature that would typically cause an instrument to lose its tuning. The polycarbonate was designed to provide optimal acoustics. The tone of this Korala guitalele is definitely as good as that of traditional guitaleles with the same price.
