The touch-sensitive sensors allow for extra dynamics in your recordings and, since the Instrument 1 is a MIDI controller with a built-in speaker, you can take it anywhere without the need to bring your laptop along. Plug a pair of headphones into the mini-jack input and enjoy the freedom to find new inspiration for your melodies on the go. If you plan on simply using this little beat machine as a MIDI controller, you can use the included Artiphon software to configure it to taste via the various different modes and settings. Select a fretless fretboard, use smart strum or dial in drum sounds; the options are plentiful!
