The Tyros 5 XXL is the most comprehensive version of Yamaha's top keyboard to date, or perhaps we should say workstation. Because with this 61-key Tyros you get incredible versatility with a super advanced instrument. Yamaha has been surprising us with the realistic sound and musicality of their styles since 2002 when they brought out their first Tyros, and since then they have built up a very loyal fan base. This Tyros 5 XXL is accompanied by the TRSMS05 monitor set and the L7S keyboard stand, specially developed for this top Yamaha keyboard.

Yamaha Tyros 5: The Power of Reality

It has always been Yamaha's goal to provide the most realistic-sounding keyboard possible. The Tyros 5 offers 1,279 such realistic sounds, including 54 MegaVoices, 288 Super Articulation! and 44 Super Articulation 2! voices. If you know Yamaha, then you already know that these sounds are full of realism, realism and more realism. All of the samples are dynamically layered and include all those extra sounds that instruments make when they're played in real life, such as the valve sounds on a trumpet or the sound of fingers sliding over guitar strings. The slogan "The Power of Reality" also applies to the Ensemble Voice function. There are 55 new voices available for life-like ensemble sounds (with groups of string and wind instruments), and by way of "humanization," subtle variations in timing and dynamics come to life in your playing.

Audio Styles, DSP and VH2

Also new are the 40 Audio Styles which include drum and percussion audio tracks, instead of MIDI sequences. These tracks were recorded from world-class musicians, resulting in an authentic groove with much more life than a MIDI track could ever offer. Thanks to real-time audio editing (Time Stretching), the rhythm section is always tight. Moreover, the Audio Link Multi Pad function makes it possible to assign sound files to a Multi Pad, which is perfect for live triggering of sound effects and voice fragments, for example. Furthermore, a Vocal Cancel feature is available as well so you can make use of this king of keyboards at your karaoke parties too. Finally, the powerful DSP chip and Vocal Harmony2 offer expansive effect possibilities and background vocals for to your music. Now it's your task to rein in the Tyros 5 and master the musicality.
