The Ibanez SR600 NTF is a four-string electric bass guitar with a body made of ash. This body has a transparent lacquer finish, so that you can still see the wood structure. It's equipped with a bolt-on neck made of 5 parts of jatoba and bubinga wood. This guitar is rather light of weight and produces a clear and direct sound that you can fully adjust to your own personal preferences by means of the integrated electronics.
The construction of the SR600 NTF
The body of the Ibanez SR600 NTF is made of swamp ash, a durable type of wood that provides a fierce response and a clear high but also gives sufficient warmth and sustain. The SR4 neck consists of 5 parts of jatoba and bubinga wood, a combination that makes the relatively thin neck durable and stable. The rosewood fretboard has 24 frets and is decorated with great-looking oval abalone inlays.
Adjusting the sound
The Bartoloni MK1 pickups of the Ibanez SR600 NTF have a split-coil design that perfectly suppresses humming and noise. The pickups also have a wide frequency range and excellent definition for a perfect reproduction of every subtle detail of your playing style. With the balance button you can create an optimal mix between both pickups and with the active 3-band equalizer with a switch for an alternative mid-frequency range, you'll soon be able to produce a magnificent bass sound.
