The Ibanez SR405EQM Soundgear Series five-string has a compact, beautifully-shaped and lightweight nyatoh body topped with quilted maple and dipped in a Dragon Eye Burst paint-job. The slim SR5 five-piece maple-and-walnut neck and twenty-four medium frets support light playability and combine with the body to ensure a full acoustic foundation that's packed with mid-frequency presence.

The Ibanez SR405EQM: Resonance, Output & Flexibility

The Accu-cast B505 bridge ensures accurate intonation and optimal string-to-body vibrational transfer and features a 16.5mm string spacing, to supporting both plucking and plectrum techniques. Full sound is delivered to your amp by a pair of PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups via an Ibanez-designed Custom Electronics three-band EQ section complete with volume and balance controls and a three-way Power Tap switch. Flip the switch into the first position to gain punchy and dynamic single-coil sounds with excellent articulation; flip into the second position to place the pickups in Series and get the full, warm sound of a humbucker; or shift into the third position for Power Tap mode and get a thick and hefty mix of both.
