Features of the Standard Precision Bass
Fender combines the best of old and new in their Standard series. This Precision Bass features a single-coil pickup with a modern output, for a more powerful sound. The recesses in the alder body for the pickups and electronics have been fully shielded to prevent annoying static and the well-known 50Hz hum. Of course, this bass guitar features a vintage-style bridge with four adjustable saddles and a '70s-style Fender logo on its headstock. The maple neck is equipped with a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium jumbo frets that make it very comfortable to play.
Split single-coil P-Bass pickup
The Standard Precision Bass features a split single-coil pickup that basically consists of two separate single-coil pickups that together form a single humbucker, providing a full, clean sound with a proper punch and solid bass. The distinctive P-Bass sound. This bass guitar has two chrome knobs for volume and tone control. The tone knob filters out the trebles to create a dark, jazzy sound.
