While this semi-acoustic is way more compact than the average Gretsch-stamped guitar, the G2655 P90 Streamliner Centerblock comes with all the Gretsch-style trimmings plus a P90-driven spin on that renowned Gretsch sound thanks to a mounted pair of FideliSonic 90s. These P90-esque pickups lay thick bass, sparkling trebles, and bold mids down on the warm acoustic foundation provided by the nato and mahogany build of the body, and if you can't do without at least a little overdrive, then you'll be reassured by the feedback-eliminating centre-block. In terms of playing feel, you get the full comfort of a Thin U-profile neck, a 12 inch fretboard radius and a set of 22 medium jumbo frets, giving you a light touch whether gripping chords or licks. All of this is made possible by the stable tuning and accurate intonation provided by the synthetic bone nut, old-bed machine heads, Adjust-O-Matic bridge, and V-Stoptail tailpiece.
