Allmänt

The Supernova is a 120-watt, tube driven guitar amplifier head from renowned manufacturer Koch. With a series of knobs on the well laid out front panel, each of the five channels can be adjusted with a range of gain and tone controls for sounds ranging from warm and clean to maximum gain and everything in between. On the back are connectors for two parallel or serial fx loops, and one or two 8-ohm or 16-ohm cabinets or a 4-ohm cabinet.

The drive, EQ and voicings on the Supernova 120 watt

Five channels give you the following sounds: clean, crunch, gain, high gain and ultra high gain. For each channel you can adjust the drive, volume and EQ. On the right hand side of the amp are four switches to add subtle changes to the voicing on each channel. The Supernova also features Koch's own Output Tube Saturation technology that adds a good dose of tube distortion to the overall sound at any desired volume.

128 presets

The optional 6-button FS6-SN foot switch is a great addition when you need to quickly switch between the different channels, with the 6th button letting you choose between master volume 1 and 2. It's possible to save sound settings on the Supernova to one of the 128 presets and switch between them using the FS6 foot switch. If you'd like to switch between more than 6 presets, it's possible to use a MIDI controller to do so.
