Allmänt
Roland's UA-1610 Studio-Capture is a powerful audio interface that can record no less than 16 channels simultaneously. Twelve of these channels are fitted with a combined jack/XLR input with a high-grade VS-PREAMP. The UA-1610 enables you to send out eight separate analogue channels, each with its own software-controlled monitor mix. It is equipped with MIDI and S/PDIF connectors. The sound level of each input channel and the master channel is displayed by the built-in meter bridge. Additional information can be found on the 128 by 64-pixel LCD display.
The VS PREAMP of the UA-1610 Studio-Capture
The UA-1610 is equipped with the same digitally controlled microphone preamplifiers as Roland's V-Studio 700. They are fitted with 12 phantom-powered, combined inputs, a low-pass filter, phase reversal and a digital compressor. They are also equipped with the unique AUTO-SENS function, which automatically selects the optimal input level for each preamp. As such, there is no need to endlessly adjust and clip the incoming signal yourself during your recording sessions. You'll have more time to focus on other matters!
Super-fast and stable audio drivers
Roland's interfaces are known for their stability, in combination with both Windows and OS X systems. Latency can be minimised, which is great if you are working with many virtual instruments or real-time plug-ins. Of course, this does require a clever computer that is able to process all the data. If the sixteen inputs of the UA-1610 Studio-Capture are not enough for you, it is possible to connect a second UA-1610 unit to your setup.
