The Roland CUBE Street EX is a mobile amplifier that is powered by batteries or an AC adapter, making it ideal for street performers and musicians who are on the road a lot. This compact travelling companion provides 50 watts of stereo power by means of two 8-inch woofers and two tweeters. It produces a clear and powerful sound that will certainly get you noticed when you are playing on a crowded main street. The power of the CUBE Street EX can be set to three different levels, Max (50W), Normal (25W) and Eco (10W), enabling you to choose the right setting for each situation and to save your batteries when full power is not required. In Eco mode, the 8 AA batteries that power the amp will last for up to 20 hours!

Various connection options

The CUBE Street EX is equipped with a built-in mixer with four independent channels, which means there are always plenty of connectors for your purposes. Two microphone and instrument channels are fitted with combined XLR and 6.35mm jack connectors. Both channels feature a volume knob, three-part tone control and reverb. The line input channel can be used in both mono and stereo mode and is fitted with 6.35mm jack connectors, while the audio-in channel is fitted with a 3.5mm mini jack connector and supports the additional i-Cube LINK. The i-Cube LINK enables you to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to the Street EX in order to play music or to record your performance. Finally, the aux in connector at the rear of the amplifier can be used to connect a mono sound source.

COSM guitar amplifier and effects

The CUBE Street EX makes life easy for guitar players: once they have plugged in their instrument, COSM amplifier modulations such as Lead, Crunch and Clean provide them with a wide choice of great guitar sounds. There is even an Acoustic Simulator that makes your electric guitar sound like an acoustic model! Chorus, delay and reverb are the icing on the cake, and the optional foot control really seals the deal.

Mobile and expandable

Thanks to its special design, the lightweight Street EX can be placed on the floor and used as a monitor. The amplifier is also fitted with a speaker stand adapter, which enables you to mount it on a stand. The stereo link function allows you to connect a second Street EX, creating a powerful stereo PA with no less than eight inputs, which enables you to amplify an entire band, for instance during a gig on the beach! An optional carrying bag with an adjustable shoulder strap is available, which can also double as a water-repellent cover that protects the Street EX amplifier from moisture during transport.
