Allmänt

This is an upgrade of the original Fender 1956 student-model Duo-Sonic, mounted with an HS configuration. This highly unique and popular underground guitar comes with the traditional shorter-than-average 24-inch scale-length and a thankfully updated (and more stable) Fender 6-saddle string-through-body Strat hardtail bridge. Combined with the C profile neck and 9.5-inch fretboard radius, it offers more optimised playing comfort, excellent tuning stability and great sustain.

The Duo-Sonic HS PF: Versatile

The no-fuss single volume and tone controls on this compact Fender do much more to customise the tone of the singular sound of the Duo-Sonic than you might expect. The robust sound delivered by the humbucker mounted at the bridge can be split using the push/pull tone pot, so you can strip the configuration down to one single-coil at the bridge combined with the neck pickup. As such, this model brings a level of flexibility its 1956 forerunners could only dream of.
