Allmänt
Freshly dropped from the American Custom Shop, the singular Fender Artisan P-90 Telecaster combines hand-selected tonewood with masterful ingenuity to breathtaking effect. The two-piece chambered Fijian mahogany body is capped with AAAA figured koa and outlined by brown-shell body binding - and in a departure from Fender tradition - comes coated in an Aged Natural finish and a thin and colourless nitrocellulose lacquer. This unique Tele comes wrapped up in a deluxe case complete with a strap and certification of authenticity.
The Artisan Collection: Custom Detailing
The AAAA roasted flamed maple neck is just as impressive as the stunning body work. The roasted treatment doesn't just leave a dark caramelised colouring, but pushes the stability through the roof. Meanwhile, the '60s Oval-C profile combines with a 9.5 inch to 12 inch compound radius, a round-laminated ebony fretboard, and set of twenty-one jumbo frets to provide unparalleled playability.
Tight & Balanced Outpu
Messing with the classic Tele format, this special Artisan edition has been loaded with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Loaded '51 Nocaster at the bridge and a Custom Shop P-90 at the neck. This is teamed up with dual-stack HS Tele wiring that includes a 250K as well as a 500K pot to guarantee tight and balanced output and the bridge pickup has also been mirrored to further tighten up the basses and solidify the trebles. Other unique details include a Reverse Nocaster bridge pre-fitted with presence-enhancing brass RSD saddles, an old-school set of machine heads complete with faux-tortoiseshell buttons, and a matching Caballo Tono pickguard.
