With the introduction of the G290 FAT II, Cort bring us a widely deployable electric guitar with a stylish boutique look and a foundation sound shaped by a lightweight swamp ash body topped with stunning flamed maple. This combination of wood assists in shaping pleasing punch and an upper-midrange focus while two Voiced Tone VTH-77 humbuckers give you a modern amplified sound fit for pop, rock and blues. The CFA-III tremolo bridge with stainless-steel saddles combined with locking machine heads make sure you can fully count on tuning stability and flawless intonation.
The G290 FAT II
Aside from the stunning finish on the body, the neck is really something else as well since both the fretboard and the neck itself are crafted out of caramel-coloured roasted maple, which has been thermo-treated to reduce moisture and improve stability. Another striking detail is the compound radius, which runs from 12 inches at the headstock to 15.75 inches near the body, accommodating easy rhythm parts and leads alike. Add that to the new Ergo-V neck profile for ultimate levels of playability and it's clear to see that Cort have put a mountain of effort into the development of this electric guitar.

It’s a hidden gem loaded with great features usually reserved for guitars hundreds of pounds more. Locking tuners, luminous fret markers, split humbuckers, roasted maple neck (lovely profile and feel).
Don’t be fooled by the simple looking trem, it’s very good.
