Meinl equipped the PMDJ1-S-F djembe with an innovative tuning mechanism - you can even adjust its warm sound while you're playing. By turning the lever, you can tighten the drumhead, resulting in a higher pitch. Furthermore, the drumhead is great for producing sharp slaps with excellent projection. The bottom of the djembe is fitted with a protective rubber ring, which also provides you with enhanced grip, preventing the drum from sliding around on smooth surfaces. it's a small djembe with a big sound.
