Capture a sample from your guitar and sustain it for days to magic up synth-like ambience with the tight TC Electronic Infinite Mini Sample Sustainer pedal. While you could say that looper pedals operate much like a video recorder, the Infinite Mini operates a bit like a polaroid camera. Stick it in Infinite mode and you're able to layer sample over sample and then allow them to slowly melt away. Add on the advanced TonePrint function and you have a potent little soundscaping tool at your disposal, all toggled via a neat set of controls and a MASH footswitch that can be set to latching or momentary mode at will.
