With the wireless receiver that comes with this EWI 5000 you can move around the stage freely as it transmits your sounds over the globally used 2.4Ghz frequency band. Thanks to the built-in sounds, essentially a complete orchestra, there's no need for external sound modules. Of course, MIDI controls work just as well which come in handy in the studio. Electronic Valve Instrument

The EWI 5000 is not just an electronic equivalent for reed players but just as much so for brass players thanks to the Electronic Valve Instrument mode. The EVI mode offers three valves for the same finger arrangements as on a trumpet for example. Or perhaps you'll opt for a different setting, like the horn. There is unlimited tweak-ability: filter, reverb, chorus, LFO, Breathe and Bite amount, semitone tuning and fine tuning can all be adjusted with the push of a button.
