Allmänt

If you want to add modern sounds like those found in pop, EDM and other dance styles to your vocals, then take a look at the groundbreaking TC Helicon Perform-VE. Among its numerous possibilities is the ability to throw funky synth vocoder effects over your vocals. In the Vocal Shaping section, you can do things like change the pitch, sound like the opposite sex, and even sample your own voice. There are also Hardtune effects that are more commonly known as auto-tune.

Perform-VE: Adaptive Tone and other inspiring effects

As well as offering plenty of vocal effects, the Perform-VE will also boost the overall quality of your sound. The Adaptive Tone functionality takes care of things like compression, de-essing, EQ and gating to ensure a great sound at all times. Other inspiring effects include doubling, atmospheric modulation, spacious reverb and echo. The Perform-VE is easy to use and it's possible to save all of your favourite presets too. That means when you're in the studio or performing live, you can concentrate fully on your music. The Perform-VE is easy to mount on a microphone stand, giving you instant control just where you need it. There's even a built-in drum looper to back you up if necessary.

What else?

The Perform-VE has a MIDI input, which means it can be easily synced to other MIDI-compatible equipment. There's also a VoiceSupport program for Windows and Mac that lets you dive down deeper into the Perform-VE's settings, maintain your presets and update the firmware too. For those with Android and iOS devices, there's a special free Perform-VE app. If you're already the proud owner of TC Helicon's MP-75 or MP-76 microphones, you can use them to control the Perform-VE while the Switch-3 and Switch-6 give you hands-free control.
