Allmänt
Manfrotto is the go-to brand when it comes to very rugged stands in all shapes and sizes. Not only build quality, but also ease of use and weight of the stand are important factors to take into account. After all, when you're using a stand intensively, it should be durable but above all manageable. Another reason for Manfrotto to build a stand that meets all the requirements. The 087NWB can be lifted up to 3.7 metres, it has a maximum weight capacity of 30 kg and weighs 21.4 kg.
Construction of the 087NWB
The stand's construction clearly shows that Manfrotto didn't cut back on quality features. For instance, the legs feature an extra stability cross section to make sure that the legs are connected with the basis and always fold out parallel to each other. The pipe joints are significantly larger, creating a solid connection between the tubes. As the wind-up system features two risers that extend simultaneously, you're always guaranteed great stability.
Using the Manfrotto Wind-Up
Because the stand has one levelling leg, you can even work on uneven terrains. This way, you can always count on great stability, even at higher altitudes. This makes the 087NWB suited for a basic four-bar, also partly due to the TV spigot and the pin that is fitted on top op the stand. The stand also features a 35mm hole for truss adapters.
