The sound of the JS32 Rhoads

The sound of the JS32 Rhoads is the result of three different wood types. Basswood was used for the body as it delivers those warm mid tones and this wood type is a common feature on a Jackson. The neck is made of maple for a sparkly, clear layer of trebles, while the amaranth fretboard adds a good deal of warmth. Because rosewood is known for its oily characteristics, it allows your fingers to run smoothly along the fretboard. This makes this a fast guitar, also mainly due to the compound radius of course.

Other features

As this is an electric guitar, its pickups really deserve to be mentioned. A set of humbucker pickups in zebra-style provide a high output and they can be used in three configurations: bridge, bridge + neck and neck. With the tone and volume control you can further perfect your sound with some tonal tweaks. Especially for the demanding lead guitarist the neck is covered with 24 frets, which means you have two octaves per string.
