Allmänt

Not many people can afford a custom-made bass guitar, unless it's a Sandberg! The German brand offers high handmade quality for the price of a factory-made model. This left-handed 4-string California VM4 is an excellent example of Sandberg excellent craftsmanship. It has a Swamp Ash body with a natural finish and a natural Canadian Hardrock Maple neck with elegant black block inlays.

Features of the Sandberg California VM4 LH

This left-handed bass has a full, clear, punchy sound thanks to a top-quality ash body and hard Canadian maple neck. The neck is bolted on by means of six screws for maximum stability and a solid feel. The VM4 has two different pickups, a P-style split single coil in the middle and a powerful Powerhumbucker at the bridge. In terms of electronics, there are volume and balance controls and an active 2-band EQ, which you can switch off by pulling out the volume knob.

A modern bass guitar

Sandberg provided the California TM4 with some striking features. For starters, it has a zero fret at the string nut that means you'll get the same tone when you play with open as you would with fretted strings. The saddles can be adjusted in three different directions for very precise intonation. The string height is also adjustable so you can determine the distance between the strings. Finally, the resistance between the machine heads is also adjustable, which gives you optimal string nut tension of the A, D and G strings.
