The famous Teardrop Mark III is back! In addition to the guitar models, the original bass guitar incarnations are also available again. Here you see the VOX Mark III Mass 3-tone Sunburst, with a unique oval headstock and a teardrop body with a warm sunburst finish. Furthermore, the Mark III Bass comes with a gig bag and features a slim short-scale neck for incredibly supple playing.

The vintage Teardrop Bass 3-tone Sunburst

The pleasantly light body of the Teardrop bass is made of basswood and is equipped with two pickups. The single-coil pickups are in the classic neck and bridge positions and deliver a bright, direct bass sound. Moreover, you can adjust them for just the right combination via the tone and volume controls. The volume controls in particular allow you to adjust the ratio of the darker neck pickup and the lighter bridge pickup.

VOX Teardrop and Phantom

The unique design of the VOX Teardrop and Phantom guitars dates back to the early sixties and still captures the imagination today. It's no wonder that second-hand models sold for high prices in the long period that VOX wasn't producing these electric guitars. However, lucky for you, some time ago they came out with the comparable Apache series, and not long after that VOX brought out the Mark III and the Mark V, due to popular demand.
