Allmänt

These black and silver Sony MDR-1ADAC (silver) over-ear headphones open up a world of digital possibilities. They are supplied with a number of digital cables: a Lightning cable to connect them to the latest iPhone, iPad and iPod models, a cable with Sony's own Walkman connector, a cable for smartphones (USB micro) and a regular USB cable, which can be used to stream audio from your laptop, but also to recharge the battery of the headphones. This battery drives the internal amplifier and digital-analogue converter, which are responsible for the outstanding sound quality of these MDR-1ADACs.

MDR-1ADAC silver: autonomous amplification

Whereas most other headphones suffer from the inferior audio chips and connectors the average smartphone, tablet or laptop is equipped with, the Sony MDR-1ADACs handle the conversion of digital to analogue signals and the subsequent sound amplification themselves, using high-grade components. Additionally, they don't use analogue cables which can also be detrimental to your sound quality. The signal is sent to your ears by means of two 40mm drivers, made of liquid crystal polymer, that reproduce your playlists in an exceptionally detailed, clear and undistorted fashion.

Recharging and accessories

The amplifier and converter of the MDR-1ADAC headphones are driven by a built-in battery that lasts for up to eight consecutive hours. In other words, you're able to enjoy your playlists for hours on end. The battery can easily be charged by connecting one end of the included USB cable to the Charge input of the headphones, and the other end to the USB port of, for instance, your laptop. In addition to the necessary cables, the Sony MDR-1ADAC headphones come with a practical carry case. Thanks to their foldable design, the headphones fit effortlessly into your bag.
