The two independent PCM synthesizer processors of the GR-55S feature more than 900 sounds! These processors can send out their sounds separately, but also simultaneously. COSM modelling technology allows you to apply internal effects to your own guitar sound, adding, for instance, a piano or a bass guitar sound. The wide range of samples enables you to create and produce the most outrageous sounds with your guitar. The GR-55S is equipped with Hi-Speed Tracking, causing the COSM technology to respond ultra-fast to your playing. The life-like and direct result will astound you.

Quick, accurate and stylish: those are the keywords for this guitar synthesizer. Roland's GR-55S offers a true plethora of possibilities. It offers 270 standard presets and no less than 297 user presets. Regardless of your preferred music genre, you'll always find the right sound. The GR55S has a well-organised design and is easy to use. To complete the picture, Roland have fitted the guitar synth with a MIDI and USB input, enabling you to load the audio files on your PC into the GR-55S and to control them with your feet.
