Allmänt
Traditionally, Flamenco guitars are built with spruce tops and sycamore sides/back for the characteristically direct, loud Flamenco sound. Modern Flamenco guitarists tend to prefer a warmer tone with a bit more sustain, however, and that’s why the Flamenco Negra guitar was born: to offer a hybrid of the classical guitar and the Flamenco guitar. The Perez 710 Palo Santo Flamenco is one such model with a spruce top and rosewood sides/back.
The all-solid Perez 710 Palo Santo Flamenco guitar
The 710 Palo Santo Flamenco is a serious guitar from the high ranks of Perez's assortment. In contrast with most budget guitars, this Spanish guitar is made of only solid woods. That means that it's not just the German spruce top that's solid, but the Indian rosewood sides/back are solid as well. Such a combination of solid woods provides a full, resonant, open sound with outstanding projection and a lot of volume – all ideal characteristics for a modern Flamenco Negra guitar. The Perez 710 Palo Santo Flamenco also comes with an adhesive transparent pickguard to protect the thin top.
Sleek finish with chic details
Along with the sound and construction, the finish of the Perez 710 Palo Santo Flamenco also radiates quality. This Spanish guitar is just as expertly finished as the guitars from Perez's exclusive Luthier series, and it's certainly not lacking in chic details. For instance, it features Indian rosewood body bindings on the front and the back, as well as a colourful handmade wooden rosette. In order to make the guitar easy to transport and keep it protected, it also comes with a rugged, lightweight case.
