With the Ovation C2078AX-5 Custom Elite (Black) in your hands, you're ready to get down to some serious live and studio work. In addition to a powerful acoustic tone, it produces a defined amplified sound and it is almost insensitive to feedback. The C2078AX-5 is equipped with a top-quality preamplifier with a compressor, a drive function and 3-band tone controls. Thanks to a 6.3mm jack connector and an XLR output, the guitar can be hooked up to nearly any imaginable sound system.

Naturally, the sound quality of a guitar is largely dependent on its construction. Ovation instruments are renowned for their rugged Roundback bodies made of the synthetic composite Lyrachord. The Contour Bowl-model body of this C2078 AX produces the full, powerful sound of a jumbo guitar, but is much more comfortable to play. The clear, projected sound of the electro-acoustic guitar is further enhanced by its AAA-class spruce top and its Deluxe Grade ebony fingerboard.
