The Orange Rockerverb 50 MKII valve amplifier combo has all the great features of the first, already successful version, plus several coveted improvements. For instance, the Rockerverb now features a Mid tone control for the clean channel and a more transparent effects loop. Its reverb, driven by two ECC81 tubes, is a lot more useable and the Orange Rockerverb 50 C MKII comes with EL34 power amp tubes as standard.

Clean and Dirty channels

As we mentioned, the essence of the Rockerverb has remained unchanged. The MKII also has a Clean and a Dirty channel. Use the first for rich cleans with a marvellous dose of trebles. Get its engine revving and it produces the most wonderful British crunch. Additionally, the Dirty channel produces an unrivalled rough sound that stands out because of its versatility; turn the gain knob and hear a procession of sounds for various styles of music, ranging from rock, blues and fusion to metal or even a little country.

Outputs, switches and tubes

The irresistible, characteristically Orange tones now come with some essential functionality. In addition to several tone controls per channel, this combo is equipped with an output for a 16-ohm cabinet and two foot switch inputs. Connect two separately available foot switches and you can quickly change channels and turn the reverb on or off. A very practical option is that you can swap the power amp tubes for optional 6L6, KT88 or 6550 valves.
