The Olympus WS-832 is a compact lightweight handheld recorder with an extensive range of features. Despite all these features, it's easy to operate and it has various menu languages as well! Its noise-suppressing stereo microphone lets you create crystal-clear recordings. The quality of your recordings can be set, as you can choose between WMA, MP3 or PCM formats. Store your recordings on a micro SD/SDHC card of up to 32 GB or on the 4GB internal memory of the WS-832!

WS-832: practical features

The Olympus WS-832's extensive practical features allow you to create a quality recording in no time! Thanks to the low-cut filter and noise suppression, unwanted ambient noise is significantly attenuated for clearer, more intelligible speech reproductions. Furthermore, the voice recorder allows you to select scenes, whereby you can choose from five different recording situations, after which the recorder automatically selects the optimal recording parameters. Recordings are digitally labelled with their recording date and represented in a calendar, so that you'll easily track the one you need.

Perfect speech reproductions

After you've finished recording, you can optimise your speech reproductions on the Olympus WS-832. Its speech balance function makes soft voices sound louder, while loud voice are somewhat attenuated. The speech filter eliminates lower and higher frequency ranges, further enhancing the voices in your recording. A Speech Alteration feature allows you to adjust the pitch of a recorded voice, further helping you to create clearly intelligible recordings.
