The Jackson SL2Q Transparent Black is an excellent Soloist-model guitar and is perfect for advanced metal guitarists. The top is made of quilted maple which is perfectly visible through the beautiful transparent black lacquer, which gives this guitar a striking appearance. The full and balanced sounding alder body, with double cutaway, offers ample space to a set of high-quality Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a reliable Floyd Rose tremolo bridge.

The very slim neck, the compound radius and the large jumbo frets will make any fast-playing metal guitarist fall for this Jackson SL2Q. Although this guitar has metal written all over it, it's also highly suitable for other genres, from jazz and rock to country and funk. The famous SH-1N pickup takes care of the warm, vintage sounds while the popular TB-4 is responsible for the rougher work. The ebony fretboard adds a noticeable bright, direct touch to the sound.
