ION lightning guard

Allmänt

If there's a lightning storm in your area, you might have to deal with a considerable surge in your power grid. If you're very unlucky, that might even fry your PC. Of course, you could always buy a new PC (with the proper insurance, it wouldn't even cost you a thing). However, the data on your hard drive is considerably harder to replace. Furthermore, PCs aren't the only devices that are affected by these surges - what about valuable (vintage) synthesizers, for instance. In short, what you need is this 2-pack of ION lightning guard surge protectors!

ION lightning guard surge protector: features

You simply plug this small device into an earthed socket that is near your equipment, and part of the same electrical group. If you do, then any equipment within a range of 10 metres will be protected from any lightning strikes. Of course, even the mains themselves can be the problem, as they can also cause spikes in the current - luckily, the lightning guard will absorb these just as well. This product can absorb 10 heavy spikes, and reacts with blinding speed - its response time is less than a nanosecond! If you care about your equipment, then this ION lightning guard is a modest investment that is definitely worth your consideration.
