Allmänt
The Ibanez CMM1 is the Signature model of You Me at Six guitarist Chris Miller. This electric guitar is based on the Ibanez Roadcore series but meets Miller's specific demands. This guitar has the same typical, cool vintage style with asymmetrical mahogany body and great-looking bindings. However, the humbucker at the neck has made way for a P90-style single-coil. The entire guitar has an ivory-coloured lacquer for a tough retro look, and the cover plate of the electronics features Chris Miller's autograph.
Construction of the Ibanez CMM1 Chris Miller Signature
The mahogany body of the CMM1 produces a full, warm sound that is complemented with the clarity of the maple neck. The ending of the 22-fret fretboard is fitted with a tailpiece design, inspired by the Ibanez Blazer and Roadstar guitars from the '80s. It's still a modern Ibanez, though, which means it has a high-end bridge. This fully adjustable Tight-Tune bridge provides an improved transferal of string vibrations to the body and great tuning stability. Moreover, the string-through-body construction gives you just that extra bit of directness and sustain.
Versatile electric guitar
With its versatile pickup configuration, the Ibanez CMM1 Chris Miller signature is capable of producing a very wide range of sounds. The P90 is ideal for those twangy single-coil sounds and crunchy blues distortion. If you want to play it rough, however, you can use the humbucker. By pulling the tone button, you can activate the coil-tap for the humbucker, giving it the clarity and bite of a single-coil. The Sure Grip knobs are fitted with a rubber ring for optimal grip during playing.
