G6134T-LTD15 Penguin Midnight Sapphire: tone, vibrato and tunability
As we mentioned before, the Gretsch G6134T features a chambered body, made of mahogany to give it a warm, buttery core sound. Its beautifully arched top without sound holes and the comfortable maple neck work together with the ebony fretboard to add some definition to the overall acoustic tone. For tasteful vibrato effects, this electric hollow-body guitar is equipped with a Bigsby B3G over a Rocking Bar bridge with an ebony base. What's more, to ensure excellent tuning stability, Gretsch has fitted the dark blue Penguin LTD15 with gold-plated Grover Imperial sealed self-lubricating tuners.
High Sensitive Filter'Tron and tone control
When amplified, this special Gretsch guitar gives you access to a remarkably wide dynamic spectrum. The G6134T-LTD15 in Midnight Sapphire can do it all - from soft, sweet whispers to pure, raw rock 'n' roll roars - thanks to its two High Sensitive Filter'Tron humbuckers. Furthermore, with its variety of controls and 3-way switches, this Gretsch guitar allows for a wide palette of different sounds. There's a master volume control, and each pickup has separate volume dials as well. The first 3-way switch allows you to switch between humbuckers, single coils or a combination of both, while the second one switches between three well-known Gretsch voicings. In short, this Limited Edition Penguin guitar offers you the true Gretsch experience, in both look and sound!
