In the Gretsch factory in Ridgeland (South Carolina, USA), the USA Custom series drum kits are still made by hand. The tested formula of 6-ply shells with 30-degree bearing edges still produces a fantastic, genuine Gretsch sound - just listen to drummers like Vinnie Colaiuta or Charlie Watts.

Q2 Limited Edition

In 2013, Gretsch commemorated its 130th anniversary and to mark that occasion, the renowned brand has issued a very limited edition drum kit for each quarter of the year. These anniversary drum kits are exceptionally exclusive: only twelve sets have been made available for the European market. This Gretsch 130th Anniversary Q2 Limited Edition shell set is the second of four exclusive sets, and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Additionally, its shells are marked with unique serial numbers and special labels on the inside.

Configuration

The Q2 Limited Edition consists of a four-part USA Custom shell set with a lavish Silver Satin Flame lacquer finish. The bass drum is equipped with Satin Black hoops with a matching Silver Flame inlay, and a G4945 bass drum mount and a GTH-SLC single tom arm are included.
