Gretsch's Catalina Club 2014 series offers a number of good-looking, high-quality drum kits in various configurations and colours. The shells of this four-part shell set are made of 7-ply mahogany, a wood type that ensures a warm tone and optimal resonance. Aided by their 30-degree bearing edges, the mahogany shells produce the unique sound and excellent resonating qualities that Gretsch is known and loved for. Equipped with a traditional 18-inch Be-bop bass drum, this set is not only suited for jazz, but can also be used for many other types of music. The Catalina Club 2014 Copper Sparkle has a nicely compact design, which makes it ideal for small gigs and rehearsal sessions!

New features

This Catalina Club 2014 Copper Sparkle jazz shell set features a number of interesting improvements. It is fitted with Catalina mini lugs and the bass drum is equipped with a round badge-style clamp with memory lock. The new Catalina tom brackets of the 2014 drum kit series feature improved, great-looking T-shaped wingnuts and offer room for an optional 7/8-inch cymbal arm. All Gretsch hardware is made of durable metal, and the floor tom is equipped with three adjustable legs, which are fitted with rubber anti-slip caps.
