Guitarist Wayne Kramer, co-founder of the legendary rock formation MC5, helped Fender design this tasteful Wayne Kramer Dreadnought (Vintage Sunburst). The godfather of punk opted for an electro-acoustic dreadnought-model steel-string guitar featuring some unique visual details and a warm Vintage Sunburst finish that beautifully combines with the dark mahogany sides and back.

Details of the Wayne Kramer Dreadnought

The renowned illustrator Shepard Fairey supplied this Wayne Kramer Dreadnought with specially designed inlays on its headstock that, together with the aged-white bindings, contrast beautifully with the dark colours of the body. Additionally, this guitar features an elegant, Viking-style bridge, a special multi-wooden Mosaic decorative strip on the back and a Wayne Kramer signature on the truss rod cover.

Acoustic and amplified

This steel-string can be used both acoustically and amplified. Acoustically, its dreadnought body produces a powerful, full base tone that is provided with the essential clarity by its spruce top. The renowned Fishman Isys III preamp system (with practical built-in tuner), enables you to connect this guitar with a mixer, an acoustic effect pedal or an external sound card, for instance. You can use the three tone controls to further adjust the timbre.
