The Japanese Fender Stratocaster is a first-class instrument that was originally meant for the Japanese market only. Luckily, we have managed to stock five of these guitars. The Fender '54 Stratocaster is your chance to get a top-shelf Fender for a reasonable price. Considering that this is a Stratocaster that was made by the specs of the original from 1954, it is cheap, to say the least. Construction

The ash body of this guitar is beautifully finished with a 2-colour Sunburst that really brings out the beautiful grain of the wood. Thanks to its ash body this guitar produces a balanced tone that is complemented with sparkling trebles from the maple neck. The SF-8 vintage-type tremolo bridge features a steel block for added sustain. Whereas the old model featured a three-position pickup switch, this Japanese '54 Start is equipped with a five-way switch, granting you access to the renowned out-of-phase quack. This Japanese Start houses every sound you may expect from a vintage Stratocaster.
