The Fender Select Stratocaster HSS Exotic Maple Flame is a Strat from Fender's sublime Select series. Like its fellow Select members, the Stratocaster HSS is characterised by a lightweight, comfortable body and special Select pickups with a modern sound. Its body is made of alder. This guitar has some rather special features that include a Bi-Flex truss rod system, high-quality machine heads and a Micro-Tilt neck adjustment.

When we take into account this guitar's distinct, striking flamed-maple top with its Bing Cherry lacquer finish, we can say that this 21-fret guitar really lives up to its name. The C-profile neck is made of rosewood and features a compound radius fretboard that is innovatively 'inlaid'. This doesn't just look pretty, it also provides a unique playing feel. The position markers are also very notable, as they are a little bigger than the ones usually found on a guitar. Additionally, the weathered-looking knobs and pickup covers provide this guitar with a proper vintage touch. The Exotic Maple Flame is equipped with a Twin Head Humbucker and two Fender Select single-coil pickups that together produce a rich, balanced sound with an exceptional balance between trebles, mids and basses.
