Allmänt
This black version of the Fender Modern Player Jazzmaster HH sets itself apart from the Crimson Red Transparent version with its neck, as its fretboard is made of maple and features classic black Block inlays. It features the same mahogany body, providing for more warmth and depth than its vintage predecessors. The Soap Bar pickups were replaced with a set of powerful humbuckers to do the dirty work. Also, the complicated electronics have been fully stripped from this guitar to make way for volume, tone and 3-position pickup switches.
Modern Player Jazzmaster HH: modern and vintage features
This Fender guitar is made in China and combines modern and vintage features. For instance, its neck has 21 medium jumbo frets and a modern flat 9.5-inch fretboard radius, providing for effortless bends along the entire neck without the buzz you would find on a more convex vintage radius. Additionally, the Modern Player Jazzmaster HH is equipped with a tremendously stable Adjusto-Matic bridge. The tailpiece is one of Fender's floating tremolo and is equipped with a lock button so that you can strap it down when you don't want to create tremolo effects.
Modern Player guitars and bass guitars
The Modern Player is a series that builds on the affordable 'my-first-Fender' tradition and because these are genuine Fender guitars and bass guitars, you can count on a reliable performance, an excellent sound and a classic look. The Modern Player series combines these aspects with modern electronic features and unexpected variations of wood types. They are comfortable instruments to play, with a C-shape neck and a relatively flat 9.5-inch fretboard radius.
