Due to its special finish, this Limited Edition Sapphire Blue Transparent turned out to be a remarkably attractive and especially unique electric guitar. Its body was first given a black base coat and then covered with a transparent blue lacquer. Subsequently, the body was sandblasted to really bring out the beautiful grain of the ash. The result is a guitar with a truly unique finish.

Construction

Ash is viewed by many as the perfect type of wood to make a Telecaster from. Compared to alder, ash has a sound with less mid frequencies - laying the emphasis on trebles and bass tones. Moreover, ash is known for its often beautiful grain, which also makes it exceptionally well suited for a transparent finish such as this sandblasted one. Additionally, this electric guitar has a modern C profile and sports a 22-fret maple fretboard. Three brass saddles and the vintage-style strings-through-body bridge also contribute to its delightfully twangy Tele-sound.

Grease Bucket Circuit

Two American Standard single-coil Tele pickups handle the amplification. The neck pickup is elegantly covered with a 'lipstick' cover. Additionally, the Greasebucket tone circuit on this guitar is perfect for guitarists who feel they have too much treble in their playing as it allows you to tune down the high frequencies without adding bass. Where the sound would normally become muddy when you turn down the trebles, the Greasebucket circuit keeps it nicely tight and defined.
