The White Blonde MN Fender FSR Baja Telecaster offers great value for money. This is a classic Telecaster that was given some fresh new features by Custom Shop master builder Christopher Fleming. For instance, the Baja Telecaster was given an ash body, assuring you of proper base tones with plenty of bass and treble. Additionally, it features a soft V-shape neck, two special pickups, a 4-way pickup switch and the innovative S1 switch. In the case of this Fender Special Run (FSR) edition (limited!) it also has an attractive White Blonde finish.

Tonal possibilities of the Baja Telecaster White Blonde

In the bridge position of the Baja Telecaster there's a Custom Shop Broadcaster pickup ensuring an aggressive, fierce sound that is excellently suited for both clean country tones as well as rough hard rock. The Twisted Tele also produces a single-coil sound, yet with a Strat-like fatness and output. The 4-way (instead of 3-way) pickup switch provides for a wide range of tonal possibilities with a little help from the S1 switch. The push/pull S1 switch (lurking in the volume knob) phases out positions 2 and 4 of the pickup switch to enable a thinner, more hollow sound that you can recognise from funk and early electric blues.

Classic Player series guitars

Guitars from the Classic Player series, sprung from the Classic line, are modelled after traditional Telecasters, Stratocasters, Jazzmasters and Jaguars but are extra notable by the application of several special, modern features. For instance, they offer a choice from a broad selection of pickups (ranging from classic pickups to modern, high-output versions), and each model features a relatively flat fretboard radius for extra comfortable playing. Additionally, instruments from this series - introduced in 2006 - are characterised by a vintage-style neck profile.
