This Fender FSR American Standard Telecaster sports a fresh Sonic Blue colour that gives it a real sixties vibe. This is a limited edition Telecaster with several unique features that include a channel-bound neck - oiled for extra comfort - and two single-coil pickups, a Custom Shop Twisted Tele in the bridge position and a Custom Shop Broadcaster near the neck. These two pickups make you master and commander over an ocean of sounds. The familiar Fender model is complemented by its subtle looks, but don't let them deceive you as this guitar produces a broad sound that can be used in virtually any type of music. A luxury Telecaster

The FSR American Standard Telecaster has several luxury features, such as an oiled channel-bound neck for instance. The fretboard wasn't glued onto the neck, it was laid in. This gives this guitar a resonance that can normally only be expected from an instrument with a one-piece neck. A compound radius fretboard is more curved at the low end of the neck, providing for comfortable, easy chord playing. The higher you go, the flatter the fretboard is, enabling bends without loss of tones. Playing comfort and top-quality finish make this Telecaster meet the demands of modern guitarists. Fender have yet again managed to improve the renowned guitar model.

About the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
